| 1950 1st April, printed envelope for the Central African Airways First Direct Air-Mail Johannesburg - Dar-Es-Salaam, bearing KGVI 6d (SG 44) cancelled 'SALISBURY' and connecting there for the onward flight. Dar-Es-Salaam arrival backstamp for the same day. Further signed by W. Hodgson (?), R. M. A. 'Shire', and enclosed the original explanatory leaflet printed on Central African Airways Corporation headed paper. Most unusual. |
