| 1937 12th May, printed KGVI Coronation 'FIRST PIGEON POST' envelope bearing KGVI ½d Coronation pair (SG 71), cancelled 'STRAND', locally addressed. Sent of the first such flight and to Mr. L. A. Wyndham, together with the flimsy wrapper and printed note carried by the actual pigeon. This numbered 55 of the 199 made. Very scarce and most appealing. |
