1959 1d Animals definitive, wmk. Coat of Arms. Horizontal block of six showing only the slightest trace of the impression now visible. Very fine unmounted. SG 171 vars.
Note: it has been suggested that this variety is chemically induced, although exactly how is uncertain. The front paper appears as normal and the reverse has full and correct undisturbed gum. The lower left stamp has the clearest impression of the underlying design. A curiosity indeed |
