| 1947 January, incoming envelope from Portuguese India with franking on reverse, sent registered to Johannesburg. Endorsed in pencil 'Received at Johannesburg damaged by rodents'. Secured at right with several printed 'Found open (etc.)' labels and cancelled with Johannesburg datestamp for the 6th January. Most appealing. |
