| 1917 11th February, printed Prisoner of War card in violet sent from East Africa and addressed to an Internment Camp in Koffiefontein. Struck at upper right with violet rectangular 'P/W EAST / AFRICA 029' cachet, despatch datestamp and violet censor cachet. The reverse with part of the message (in German) deleted with thick black bar. Most unusual. |
