| BRITISH BECHUANALAND 1893 (20th February), Great Britain QV 1d+1d reply paid postal stationery card overprinted for use in British Bechuanaland (B&BS PC6 / H&G 7). The outward half addressed to Germany and uprated with the addition of a ½d vermilion (SG 9), all tied / cancelled with TAUNGS BECHUANALAND (FE 20) single circle datestamps. Vryburg (20 Feb) transit struck on the front. The card with two unobtrusive 1cm tears at top. Scarce card commercially used. |
