| 1899 (3rd December), Anglo-Boer War (ZAR Invasion of Natal) envelope addressed to Johannesburg bearing a single ZAR 1893 ½d surcharge on 2d bistre and a left marginal pair of the 1895 1d red postage commemorative (SG 195, 215c). Each stamp is cancelled or tied by very fine strikes of the 'liberated' DUNDEE NATAL (DE 3) single circle datestamp. Johannesburg (6 Dec) arrival backstamp. |
