| BECHUANALAND PROTECTORATE 1905 (9th June), QV Protectorate 4d registered postal stationery envelope (size F, B&BS RE23 / H&G C6), addressed to Greece. Bearing QV ‘Jubilee’ ½d and 2d (SG 60, 62) tied by MOCHUDI B.B. (9 JU) single circle datestamps with additional strike cancelling the embossed imprinted stamp on the flap. RLO Cape Town (12 JU) and London (1 JY) transit backstamps. The reverse also with large boxed cachet of W.A.H. Harbor. A scarce stationery envelope (especially the size ‘F’) commercially used to an unusual destination. |
