BECHUANALAND PROTECTORATE (British Bechuanaland used in the Protectorate) / Boer War 1902 (18th May), Cape QV 1d chestnut postal stationery card overprinted for use in British Bechuanaland (B&BS PC8 / H&G 5). Addressed and sent registered to Austria. Enthusiastically uprated with the addition of stamps to the value of 2s.4½d, comprising British Bechuanaland 3d, 4d, 6d, 1/- and Protectorate ½d, 1d, 2d (SG 12, 35, 36, 37, 59, 61, 62) all cancelled / tied by MOCHUDI B.B. (MY 18) single circle datestamps. Large circular censor cachet of Kimberley and transit registration oval datestamp, probably of Cape Town (22 May). Philatelically inspired and presumably reflecting the available stamps at Mochudi at this date. Colourful.
