BECHUANALAND PROTECTORATE 1925 (27th June), envelope addressed to South Africa bearing KGV ½d green and 1½d brown (SG 73, 75) tied by a bilingual SOUTH AFRICA / ROYAL TOUR (27 JUN 25) oval datestamp with Union Coat-of-Arms above.
Note: according to an official S.A.R. Royal Tour itinerary published in Reisener (‘The Special and Commemorative Postmarks, Cachets and Covers of South Africa 1892-1975’, p19), the Royal Tour was in Bechuanaland Protectorate on the 27th and 28th June and arrived in Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia on the 29th June.
