Bearing a single decimal surcharge definitive R1 on 10/- (Type II, SG 167b) tied by a neat LOBATSI (28 Jun) double circle datestamp with further strikes on the reverse. With a Lobatsi registration cachet and a large ‘DEPT. OF POSTS & TELEGRAPHS / 28 JUN 1961 / BECHUANALAND PROTECTORATE / HEAD OFFICE: LOBATSI’ oval datestamp struck in violet on the front and back. A few peripheral faults, otherwise very fine. |
