| STELLALAND / Revenue 1887 (13th April), portion of a document (189x163mm) bearing three examples of the 1/- purple-brown, each handstamped with ‘JPM’ monogram (one upright (fault) and two inverted) each dated ‘13/4/87’ and with the distinctive signature of M.C Genis in red manuscript. Two stamps with red ink somewhat diffused by moisture, otherwise very fine and an interesting combination of upright and inverted monograms. Attractive. T&M ST.2n.2, ST.2i.2 |
