| 1961 QE2 decimal surcharge definitives. 2½c on 2d red-brown. Lower right corner marginal vertical pair, each stamp showing the variety SURCHARGE AT TOP due to a downward shift of the surcharge forme. Also showing the variety SURCHARGE IN LOWER MARGIN. The top pair of this column would be the SG listed variety ‘Vertical pair, one without surcharge’ (SG 159b). Superb fresh unmounted mint. Rare, as only one sheet is recorded with this variety, resulting in only six possible examples of the surcharge printing in the margin. SG 159 var
