| GIBRALTAR 1942-45 KGVI 6d definitive, perf. 13. Two matching upper marginal positional (by guide cross) blocks of four, both the carmine and scarlet shades. Each showing the major re-entries (frame plate 1, row 1 3-4) on the upper pairs. Very fine mint or the varieties unmounted. These important and strikingly visible varieties (affecting the upper frame and shields), first appeared in 1945. A remarkable and very scarce pair. SG 126b, 126c and vars. |
