| 1895 (26th November), Vurtheim 1d postal stationery card addressed to Cape Colony. The imprinted stamp cancelled with a neat JOHANNESBURG / 3 / ZAR / 1 duplex datestamp (26 Nov). The reverse with printed ‘Standard Bank’ correspondence and with G.P.O. Natal (28 Nov) transit and Kokstad (1 Dec) arrival backstamps. The card with corner crease, otherwise very fine and showing an interesting routing via Natal. |
