1900 ‘V.R.I.’ overprints. ½d, 2d, 3d and 4d, each showing the variety DROPPED ‘I’ (0.75mm). The 2d and 4d thinned, otherwise fine mint with hinge remnants. Uncommon. SG 226, 228, 230, 231 vars.
Note: this variety occurred on position [34] and followed the correction of the ‘V.I.R.’ variety on the same position. |
