| 1943 4th March (dated internally), folding letter card (presumably manufactured as such but no printing). Internally written in Italian, the front endorsed at top 'EVACUEE MAIL' and addressed to Sicily. Struck with purple 'No. 4 Internment Camp. / (Southern Rhodesia)' cachet and below violet octagonal 'PASSED / DE/30' strike. Reverse with further censor marks plus black 'UFFICIO CENSURA' strike. Highly unusual. |
