| Postal History 1888 (July), envelope bearing ½d, 1d x three and 2d rectangulars, indistinctly cancelled with barred ovals and below 'KOKSTAD JY 12 88' datestamp, addressed to Natal. Endorsed in ink 'Registered', however this scored through in red and further struck with bold '107' barred oval as a further attempt to cancel and deface. Arrival backstamp dated 14th July. Most unusual. |
