Postal History 1880 (28th May), envelope addressed to England endorsed “Per R.M.S. Dunrobin Castle”. Bearing a pair of ‘THREEPENCE’ surcharge on 4d pale dull rose (SG 35) tied by a PORT ELIZABETH (MY 28) single circle datestamp and a blurred ‘2’ BONC. The adhesives additionally tied by CAPE TOWN (MY 31) single circle datestamps. With a London (23 June) arrival datestamp struck in red on the front. A fine example of the 6d Packet Letter Rate to England in effect from 1st July 1876.
