3d, 'Hyphen' flaw (row 9/6), upper right stamp in a positional lower right corner block of four. Without gum and some perfs. parted. RARE. SG 24a, 24
Note: some years back two blocks showing this flaw surface at the B.P.A. for certification. Prior to that, neither we nor anyone else we asked had ever encountered another example, and indeed it was thought this listing was in error. The flaw would apparently only have affected a small number of sheets, probably noticed and very soon corrected. It is considerably rarer than the KGVI 1½d carmine-red Tick bird flaw.
