1937 (12th May) First Day of Issue. Large portion of a Union of SA bilingual Parcel Post label addressed to Moorreesburg. Bearing a horizontal pair of the KGVI Coronation 1/- red-brown and turquoise-blue (SG 75) tied by a neat STRAND (12 MAY 37) double circle datestamp (the first day of issue) with a second strike alongside. Also showing sender’s private cachet. Very fine and attractive.
