| 1899 (9th April), envelope addressed to Germany. Bearing a single Protectorate QV Jubilee 4d green and purple-brown (SG 64) tied by a neat RAMOUTSA (9 Apr) single circle datestamp. The reverse with a MAFEKING / C.G.H. (10 Apr) and Baden (1 May) transit / arrival backstamps. The flap roughly opened, otherwise a very fine and attractive franking. |
