| 200?, envelope addressed to the BBC in London with airmail etiquettes. Bearing strip of three K1000 tied by LUSAKA datestamps with date showing as ‘3.0.0.10.2’ The reverse with a Lusaka (8 Feb) datestamp. On arrival, the envelope received a small ‘CHECKED / 7’ cachet in blue. This is an inspection mark applied by a private company to incoming mail following an anthrax alert at the BBC in October 2001. Some edge faults otherwise fine. Unusual. |
