CUSTOMS DUTY 1908 KEVII watermark multiple Crown CA. Set of five duties each overprinted ‘CUSTOMS DUTY’ in black (1d, 2d, 6d) or red (3d, 4d). The 3d superb unmounted mint, the others fine unused (without gum). Scarce group. Barefoot 5B, 6B, 7A, 8A, 9B
Note: in ‘Edwardian Stamps of the South African Colonies’, p281, Trotter records overprints on the above five duties and states the 4d is also recorded in black and the 6d in red.
