| Railway 1913 (17th February), long envelope sent registered to Germany, bearing QV ½d blue-green pair and KEVII 2½d x 2 (SG 60, 69) all tied by GABERONES STATION / B.B (FE 17) single circle datestamps. With a very fine GABERONES STN. boxed registration cachet struck in purple at upper left. Kimberley, Cape Town (21 Feb) and Schönebeck (16 Mar) transit / arrival backstamps. A few edge faults including a small tear at top, clear of the adhesives. Attractive and interesting use of QV and KEVII issues used during reign of KGV. |
