| 1922 (4th December), underpaid incoming black and white photographic picture postcard from England (‘On the Mersey at New Brighton.’) bearing a KGV 1d tied by a London (4 Dec) datestamp. The card received a large ‘1½d’ tax marking and a rouletted 1½d black and yellow-brown postage due (SG D10) was affixed and tied by a triangular datestamp (DE 25 / 22) on Christmas day. Scarce usage. |
