1924 KGV Admiral ½d. lower right corner horizontal strip of eight, imprint in margin. Showing irregular line of perforations at base, a slightly taller stamp at left and somewhat more-so at right. Twice folded and numerous parted perfs., hinge traces or unmounted. Striking and most unusual. SG 1 vars.
Note: it is most likely that this sheet was at first imperforate to base, noticed by the printers and an attempt to correct by adding a somewhat haphazard line of perforations. |
