| 1946 (1st November), KGVI 4d registered postal stationery envelope (B&BS RE 42c / H&G 18 var). Addressed, on the reverse, to South Africa and bearing a single a KGVI 1/- black and olive-green (SG 105) tied by a LOBATSI (1 Nov) double circle datestamp and a Lobatsi registration cachet struck in violet. The imprinted stamp also cancelled with the same datestamp. Mafeking (4 Nov) transit and Zeerust (5 Nov) arrivals datestamps. Scarce usage. |
