Addressed to Basutoland and bearing a single a QEII 2½c ‘scarlet-chested sunbird’ (SG 170) tied by a FRANCISTOWN / BECH. PROT. (26 Jul) double circle datestamp, also cancelling the imprinted stamp. With a light FRANCISTOWN boxed registration cachet struck in violet at upper left. Bloemfontein (29 Jul) arrival datestamp also tying the adhesive. |
