Addressed to Worcester, Cape, bearing a single Hope standing ½d green (SG 58) tied by a G.P.O. CAPE TOWN / CAPE COLONY (11 Jun) double circle datestamp. Worcester (12 Jun) squared circle arrival backstamp. Some edge wear, otherwise a very fine and attractive example of the ½d unsealed printed matter rate, the flap still with full gum. |
