Photo–F. W. Sykes.’ Addressed to the Cape Colony and cancelled with the distinctive NORTH WESTERN RHODESIA / KALOMO (JU / 27 / 05) double circle datestamp. Bulawayo (1 July) transit and Mossel Bay (5 July) arrival datestamps applied to the front. Some perimeter surface scuffing and light creasing otherwise a rare example of the first canceller type issued to Kalomo. |
