| 1895 Cape 2d pale bistre with overprint (typeset) reading downwards. Showing the variety OVERPRINT DOUBLE. The overprints are both central, separated diagonally with one lighter than the other, indicating issue at Gaberones. Fine used with part of a confirming GABERONES single circle datestamp. The basic stamp also shows a plate flaw – small indent to right of lower tablet. Rare. SG 39a
