| 1949 (21st April), KGVI ‘Cattle and Baobab’ 1d red on cream postal stationery card (later printing, H&G 9 / BBS PC21b). Addressed to Bloemfontein, the imprinted stamp is cancelled with the modified LOBATSI BECH PROT (21 Apr) double circle datestamp with ‘ROYAL VISIT’ excised at top. Small imperfection at base, otherwise very fine and a rare card used. |
