1892 17th November, envelope bearing QV ½d pale blue-green, 2 x 1d red-brown (SG 15, 11), plus two pairs of the bisected diagonally '½d' surcharges, these the 'posthumous' types. Cancelled large square 'F.I' cork cancels (Barnes F2), addressed to England and endorsed 'Registered'. However, these surcharges not accepted as invalid, and the 'Registered' scorred through and endorsed above 'Late'. Cambridge arrival backstamp DE 27. Most attractive.
