1906 (23rd April), envelope addressed to the ‘High Commissioners Train, / Francistown Station, / Tati Concession, / Bechuanaland Protectorate’. Bearing a combination of 11 British Bechuanaland and Protectorate adhesives, comprising QV and KEVII ½d, 1d, 2d, 2½d, 3d, 4d, 6d, 1/-, 2/-, 2/6 and 5/- (SG 16-18, 35-7, 60, 62-3, 68-9), each tied by neat FRANCISTOWN / BECHD PROTEC (23 Apr) single circle datestamps with an additional strike on the reverse. A few minor stains, mainly confined to the reverse. Philatelically inspired, though a scarce and impressive franking with the high face value unappropriated dies being very rare on cover.
