| 1909 (26th September), envelope addressed to Natal bearing a single KEVII 1d scarlet (SG 68) tied by two strikes of the PALAPYE STATION / BECHUANALAND PROT (26 Sep) triple circle datestamp. Faint partial Mafeking (27 Sep) transit and Port Shepstone (2 Oct) arrival backstamps. Part of flap missing, otherwise a fine and attractive example of the 1d per half ounce rate to ‘Other Southern African Territories’. |
