Postal Stationery Great Britain 1877 De La Rue die proof for the QV postal stationery card ½d duty. Printed in black on glazed card (92x60mm) and datestamped ‘Aug 21 1877’ in black. Endorsed ‘BH’ at upper right (Before Hardening) in pencil.
Note: this design was used for British postal stationery cards, some of which were overprinted for use in British Bechuanaland and issued in 1894.
