PROOF, an uncut vertical strip of five with covers, stitching and advertisements but without adhesives, plain strips of paper acting as substitutes for the stamp panes. The front covers detached at the stitching, and odd other imperfections, nevertheless an impressive archival item of great technical interest, and almost certainly unique. |
