1974 12½c definitive, major variety PAPER JOIN. Left two columns of the sheet, cylinder '1B' in margin, the join showing just above 'RHODESIA' panel on the centre stamp to the front, and on the lower stamp on reverse. Ink endorsement in margin, superb unmounted. UNIQUE AS SUCH. SG 496 and vars.
Note: this is the only such paper join known for at the entire Rhodesia era. Presumably only one sheet existed. |
