1891 GB QV ‘Jubilee’ 6d purple on rose-red. Upper left corner marginal BLOCK OF TEN (5x2) showing ‘arrow’ guide marking above stamps 4 and 5. A few split perforations, otherwise very fine used with small PALAPYE (AU 1 / 93) single circle datestamps. An impressive multiple with a scarce datestamp. SG 36
Note: this block appears to emanate from the same pane as a block of 18 bearing identical datestamps which offered on the Besançon sale (3rd June 2024, lot 2254).
