| 1886 Cape ½d grey-black overprinted ‘British Bechuanaland’ in black. Horizontal strip of three, the centre stamp showing the variety ‘B’ of ‘British’ omitted resulting in the ‘ritish’ error. The left stamp also showing characteristic variety Raised ‘and’ in ‘Bechuanaland’ and the right stamp with Broken ‘s’. Very fine fresh mint with light hinge marks. Very rare. RPS certificate (1958).
