| 1886 Cape ½d grey-black overprinted in black. Irregular BLOCK OF 28, plateable as being from the upper half of a lower right-hand pane. A vertical crease affects left column and some sensible reinforcing, otherwise very fine fresh mint with many unmounted. Very rare, believed to be the largest multiple in private hands (a block of 30 ex Holmes resides in the Botswana Post archives. Ex Brian Hurst collection and beautifully written up on his page. SG 4
