| 1887 Cape 4d dull blue overprinted ‘British Bechuanaland’ in black. COMPLETE ROW OF 12 STAMPS from the top of the sheet, comprising two strips of six separated by the interpanneau gutter margin. With intact margins on three sides showing current number ‘3’ above stamp 2 and plate number ‘2’ above stamp 11. A very rare multiple proving a setting of 120 was applied across two panes simultaneously. Odd minor stain in margins, the stamps are all remarkably fresh unmounted mint.
