| 1932 (16th November), printed ‘On His Majesty’s Service.’ envelope addressed to Cape Town. Bearing a single KGV 3d violet (SG 94) tied by a LOBATSI (16 Nov) double circle datestamp. With large POST OFFICE MAFEKING (15 Nov) oval datestamp struck in violet at lower left. The enclosed printed Union of South Africa ‘Memorandum’ from the postmaster at Mafeking acknowledges receipt of 1/- and states he is enclosing one dozen ½d postcards, value 9d. |
