| Mafeking Mail 1900 (7th April), complete two page ‘Special Siege Slip’ number 112, issued on the 177th Day of the Siege. Interesting contents include ‘Notice / The new issue of stamp bearing the Colonel’s photograph, will be produced on Monday, the 9th instant. These stamps can only be issued on production of letter addressed locally (Mafeking or forts). No person can for the present be allowed to hand to the officer in charge of Siege Post Office more than one letter per diem. / J.
