| 1892 (12th September), envelope addressed to the Cape bearing a horizontal pair of 1891 ‘Jubilee’ 1d lilac (SG 33), each tied by neat KEIMOES BECHUANALAND (SP 12) single circle datestamp with an additional strike at lower left. Backstamped with a Cape Town (SP 21) arrival datestamp. Small unobtrusive edge tear at top, not affecting the adhesives. A scarce datestamp and an attractive example of the 2d per half ounce letter rate to the Cape. |
