| 1878 Bradbury Wilkinson QV ‘Bourne Head’ 6d postage duty. IMPERFORATE PRINTER'S SAMPLE of the 6d printed in an unissued colour deep dull blue on thin card, perforated ‘SPECIMEN’ (Samuel type B1). With exceptionally large margins suggesting this emanates from a single plate or one with im-pressions spaced much further apart than that used for the issued stamps. Attractive and very rare. Not present in Criddle, Drysdall or Besançon collections.
