| 1895 Cape 2d bistre with overprint (typeset) reading downwards. COMPLETE UPPER LEFT PANE OF 60 with margins on all sides with plate number ‘2’ at top. Showing several varieties including Broken ‘B’ and ‘c’ in ‘Bechuanaland’ [Row 1/1], Partially omitted ‘l’ in ‘Bechuanaland’ [Row 9/4] and Sliced ‘ch’ in ‘Bechuanaland’ [Row 10/6]. A horizontal crease affects rows 4 and 10 otherwise very fine fresh unmounted mint with. A scarce multiple. SG 39, 39 vars.
