1888 Cape of Good Hope ½d grey-black overprinted ‘Bechuanaland / Protectorate’ in green. BLOCK OF 36 (6x6) comprising upper six rows of a lower left pane with margins on three sides including interpanneau margins at top and right. The upper five rows show the complete setting of 30 applied at an angle resulting in parts of the overprints falling in the margin at left. The lower row is set horizontally to the left and is the top row of the repeated setting of 30 below. A diagonal crease affects five stamps at top, otherwise very fine unmounted mint.
