GABERONES / B.P (15 Sep) transit struck on the front. The reverse with large handstamped cachet of ‘SECHELE II. / KGOSI E KGOLO EA BAKWENA / [image of crocodile] / MOLEPOLOLE, / B.B. PROTECTORATE.’ struck in violet. Backstamped GABERONES / B.P. (14 Sep), GABERONES STATION / B.B (14 and 15 Sep) and Mafeking (15 Sep) transit / arrival datestamps. Opened on three sides though a neat and attractive item of mail from the chief of the Bakwena tribe. |
